Job Overview

Avionyx is an aerospace software engineering company operating in the America Free Trade Zone, Heredia.  We are looking for a person interested in a long-term career providing support to the Accounting & Operations areas.    

 

Due to the type of tasks performed in this position, it is required that the person works at our offices located in America Free Zone (AFZ), Heredia.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Manage Imports and Exports processes
  • Manage Fixed and Consignment assets
  • Ensure compliance with the regulations and processes of the free trade zone regime
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support audit processes
  • Support bookkeeping, including data entry, reconciliation processes
  • Assist the accounts payable process
  • Process and track employee benefits reimbursements

 

Other Duties:

  • Prepare and generate accounting reports
  • Coordinate the renewal of insurance policies
  • Support the travel arrangements process
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance and Operations departments

Required

  • Business Administration studies
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Strong inter-personal skills and trustworthiness
  • Excellent detail orientation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Great service orientation and task ownership
  • Proficiency working with Excel spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of office applications (MS Office)
  • Knowledge of accounting processes
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and tools
