Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We’ve designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Engineering Design Services Department with administrative tasks.
  • Assist in lifecycle changes and production release of drawings via PLM.
  • Process engineering change orders and lead the implementation process.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, tooling, and quality.
  • Create and track progress of tickets for CAD Team.
  • Update, Track and report KPIs performance to Management.
  • Support CAD team in general tasks related to modeling and drafting.
  • Follow up with Vendors progress on Fabrication and quality requirements.

Required

  • Technician Degree: Precision Mechanics, CAD Drafting, or related field.
  • Or 2+ Year through College Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical or related Engineering Career.
  • 2+ years of related experience working as an Engineering Technician or related roles.
  • Experience with CAD software.
  • Basic Excel Knowledge.
  • Task Management and follow up skills for Projects Tracking.
  • Experience with Ticketing Systems.
  • Experience tracking KPIs and Data Management.

Desired

  • Experience with PLM CAD data management.
  • Experience working with Catia V5 or Catia V6, and Enovia.
  • Experience working in similar industry.
  • Engineering drawing practices using American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Y14.100 and Y14.24.
  • +CAD Certifications
