Systems Verification Engineer, Integrated Flight and Propulsion Control System (IFPCS)

At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.

• Automated and manual Verification test script authoring and execution
  -Data reduction and analysis
  -Problem reporting, resolution, and tracking issue to closure
  -Writing Test Reports
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Software, System Test, test equipment, Flight Test.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics required; Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering preferred
• Relevant demonstrated scholastic project experience or internships
• Understanding and application of disciplined systems engineering processes
• Experience working in a laboratory environment
• Exposure to modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink
• Excellent verbal and technical writing skills in English language
• Ability to work collaboratively, with self-starter skills that enables self-sufficiency
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• Strong command of Python

• Electric vehicle technology experience
• Flight Simulator development
• Experience integrating and testing complex, highly integrated systems, including failure modes and effects testing (FMET)
• Familiarity with requirements management
• Familiarity with safety assessment concepts
• Experience using Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence, and Crucible
• Familiar with Dassault Systems Engineering and Management tools (Enovia)
